EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprogramming) is a method of psychotherapy which can act as a catalyst in the healing from emotional pain. It has been extensively researched and has been assessed by the International Society for the Study of Dissociation to be ranked most efficacious (tied with the drug Zoloft) as a treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. It has been found to be very helpful for other conditions.
